Our greenhouse, located at the Rutgers University EcoComplex, insures that plants of the highest quality are utilized in our EcoWall®, vertical garden system. The greenhouse allows us to acclimatize plants to ideal light regimes before projects are started. We also grow all of our plants in a proprietary blend of soilless and inorganic medium which is inoculated with beneficial microbes and mycorrhizae. Our growing efforts result in the most robust, healthy plants, specifically acclimatized for vertical gardening.
Our greenhouse facility maintains our company philosophy of environmental sensitivity. An on-sight microdigester utilizes waste from the local landfill to produce the energy used to grow our plants.
EcoWalls, LLC utilizes our greenhouse facility to pre-grow greenwall panels for clients desiring instant relief aesthetics.
Additionally, our research team uses this state of the art facility to conduct research critical to understanding the phytoremediation capabilities of vertical gardens. This research helps serve a foundation for vertical gardens as a tool in green building applications.
Because plants have different lighting, nutrient, and water requirements, not every plant will work forvertical gardening. We test all plant varieties to ensure the the plants incorporated into your vertical garden will thrive for many years.

EcoWalls has partnered up with expert horticulturalists at Milestone Agriculture to bring you high quality, healthy plants acclimatized to vertical gardening. All our plants are grown in a proprietary blend of soilless medium design to wick and lock in moisture while providing optimum levels of oxygen, and beneficial microbes to the plants roots. The mix eliminates the dry out, rot, and matrix decay associated with conventional soil-based mediums.
